Suspension and Debarment are administrative remedies that help protect the federal government from fraud, waste, and abuse.  This session will provide a basic understanding of suspension and debarment tools used to ensure that the government is conducting business with individuals and entities who are presently responsible. 

Learning Objectives:

  1. Establish a fundamental understanding of suspension and debarment.
  2. Describe the differences between suspension actions and debarment actions.
  3. Identify when a suspension or debarment exclusion may be implemented.
