Program Description: The “Omni Circular” (2 CFR Chapter I and II Part 200 – Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards) Subpart C, Pre-Federal Award Requirements and Contents of Federal Awards, requires agencies to perform certain actions, including: pre-award requirements, merit reviews and risk assessments. Participants will learn how Subpart C will affect grant administration activities, the required elements and ways to document compliance with the CFR.

Learning Objectives:

  1. To obtain an overall level of understanding of the changes brought on by the Omni Circular.
  2. To obtain an introduction to Subpart C covering: pre-award requirements, merit reviews and risk assessments.
  3. To gain an understanding of how the changes may affect participants’ grant management processes.
