FREE Grants Training and Chapter Development Meeting in Spokane, Washington

NGMA is holding a local training and networking opportunity in Spokane, Washington on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 9:30am – 12pm. This FREE grants training is for members and non-members.

Come learn about NGMA, learn something new about grants, and network with other grant professionals in your area! All NGMA members and prospective members are encouraged to stay for a chapter development meeting.

Uniform Grant Guidance Update

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has a new set of rules for organizations accepting federal grants and awards. They’re called the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. If your organization receives Federal funding, even if it is received indirectly through the State or another organization, this guidance likely applies to you. Through this track, we will highlight key points from the OMB update, discuss the procurement and period of performance requirements, and answer questions.

  1. Identify new requirements outlined in legislation impacting the field of grants management.
  2. Apply best practices in grants management.
  3. Analyze new concepts and strategies for improving organizational efficiencies in the field of grants management.
CPE-transparentNational Grants Management Association is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State Boards of Accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual course for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.
