Plan to attend the Performance Management Workshop, April 4, from 5pm to 6:30pm. Attendance is included with your conference fee. The workshop will be held in SkyView at the hotel. Light hors d’oeuvre’s will be served, and there will be a cash bar.
What is it?
At the workshop you will get expert advice and counsel on how to develop, implement and monitor grants performance measures.
Grants experts will be available in the following four topic areas:
Mental health services and outreach
Food support and nutrition services
Pre-K through 12 educational programming
Disease education and prevention
The workshop has three goals:
Develop and validate a simple, but rigorous method of developing actionable performance measures;
Develop an initial list of performance measurers within each topic area; and
Get individual advice on your program’s performance measures.
How will it work?
Tables will be set up for each of the four topic areas. You can self-select which area you wish to contribute to. Each topic will have an expert who will begin the discussion by outlining a draft schema for developing performance measures. Next, he will open the discussion as to which or what kinds of performance measures could be used in this topic area. Finally, attendees will be given the opportunity to ask specific questions about performance measures and monitoring which will be discussed by the group. Resulting lists of performance measures will be distributed to the attendees after the conference.
