What’s Required and Can Be Included in Sub-Award Grant Notifications

Sandra Swab is an independent consultant that focuses grants management, reporting and data management. She is a former senior policy analyst at OMB, and data manager and grants policy advisor at the Recovery Accountability Transparency Board
This presentation will focus on the applicability of the Uniform Guidance on Sub-Award Grant Notifications. Attendees will gain insight to what is needed to be included in a sub-award grant notification, e.g., specific federal award information, flow-down requirements, and use of specific requirements for a sub-award applied by the prime or pass-through entity. In addition, attendees will be provided strategies to manage the reporting of sub-awardees so prime awardees can meet their reporting requirements. The session will provide specific references in the guidance so attendees can further examine the guidance and its applicability to sub-award notifications.
