Better Performance Data for Better Decision-Making
Kaitlin Porter, Manager, Deloitte Consulting LLP and Scott Klisures, Senior Manager, Deloitte Consulting LLP
Organizations are under tremendous pressure to manage grant making effectively and efficiently, while also demonstrating results and the impact of funded programs. But how should an organization, state or local government agency, or other recipient manage its grants programs to increase impact? What role can performance data play in improving the impact of grant dollars? This presentation will describe a framework and guiding principles to employ: start with a clear understanding of how to make a difference, draw on existing evidence, collect the right data, provide flexible solutions, support better use of data, and involve blended funding models where possible.
